Safe LinkedIn prospecting

No extensions, no automated browsers
Each profile works with its own LinkedIn session, talking to LinkedIn directly just as its website does. You install nothing, no code is injected into your browser and no clicks are faked in a robot browser. Your computer can be off.
At a person's pace
Activity is spread over the day like someone who works on LinkedIn, not in bursts.
- Random 2 to 6-minute pauses between two actions of the same profile.
- A single action at a time per profile: never two in parallel.
- Only on the days and hours you choose for each campaign, in your time zone.
- Waits between journey steps (for example, days between one message and the next) that you set.
14-day warm-up
A new or inactive profile doesn't start at full speed: it begins at 25% of its limits and rises gradually to 100% over 14 days of activity. Idle days don't count, so the pace never jumps.
Automatic stop on any verification
If LinkedIn asks to verify the session (CAPTCHA, two-factor code) or the session expires, the profile stops at once in all its campaigns: not a single action more is run with it.
- We show it in the app so you can reconnect it.
- Your campaigns aren't lost: each lead stays exactly where it was.
- Once the profile is reconnected, everything carries on from that point.
Each profile on its own
Limits, pauses, warm-up and schedule belong to each profile. When a campaign uses several profiles, it spreads the work across them, and a problem with one doesn't affect the others.
- Each LinkedIn profile can only be connected once across the platform: when you connect it, we check it isn't already connected in another of your clients or another account, so it never acts twice or goes over its real limit.
No repeated or unwanted contacts
Contacting the same person twice, or someone you shouldn't, is what hurts a profile most. So before each contact the campaign's exclusions are checked:
- People and companies on your blacklist (on by default).
- Anyone already contacted from another of your campaigns (on by default).
- Anyone who talked to you on LinkedIn in the last 12 months (on by default).
- If you wish, also anyone who already got messages from another of your profiles.
Your password stays yours
You connect your profile by signing in on a secure connection page. LeadsAhoy never sees or stores your LinkedIn password, and you can disconnect the profile anytime.
Your data, protected
LeadsAhoy is a product of a Spanish company and complies with the GDPR.
- Servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Encrypted connections across the platform (HTTPS).
- Permissions per team and per client: each person only sees the clients you assign.
- We process your leads' data only on your behalf, and it's deleted 90 days after your plan ends.
Daily limits per profile
Each profile has a daily limit for each kind of action, counted in its time zone. You start with conservative values and can adjust them; if you go above the recommended maximum, the app warns you.
| Action | Default | Recommended maximum |
|---|---|---|
| Invitations a day | 20 | 40 |
| Invitations a week (last 7 days) | 100 | 200 |
| Messages | 40 | 100 |
| Profile views | 60 | 100 |
| Follows | 20 | 50 |
| Likes | 20 | 50 |
LinkedIn cuts invitations at around 200 a week, so there's a weekly limit too (recommended maximum of 150 on free accounts). During warm-up, all limits apply at 25% on day one and rise to 100% by day 14.
What we recommend
- Start with the default limits and warm-up switched on.
- Write personal, relevant messages for each person: accepted invitations protect your profile.
- Use segmented lists rather than mass campaigns.
- Don't use another automation tool with the same profile at the same time: their activity would add up.
- Check your pending invitations on LinkedIn now and then and withdraw very old ones.
No tool can guarantee zero risk: LinkedIn sets its own rules. What we do is make your activity that of a person and stop as soon as LinkedIn asks.
Security questions
Do I need to install anything or keep my computer on?
No. LeadsAhoy uses no extensions or software on your computer: it works from our servers with your profile's session, even with your computer off.
Do you see or store my LinkedIn password?
No. You connect your profile on a secure sign-in page and LeadsAhoy never sees or stores your password.
What happens if LinkedIn asks me to verify the session?
The profile stops at once in all its campaigns and we show it in the app. When you reconnect it, each campaign carries on where it was.
Can I change my profile's limits?
Yes, on each profile. You start with conservative values (for example, 20 invitations a day) and, if you go above the recommended maximum, the app warns you.
Can I use LeadsAhoy alongside another automation tool?
We recommend not doing it with the same profile: their activity would add up and neither would know the other's limits.
Where is my data?
On servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We comply with the GDPR, and your leads' data is deleted 90 days after your plan ends.
Shall we look at your case?
In 20 minutes we'll show you how to set up profiles, limits and campaigns to prospect without putting your accounts at risk.
