Two different roles
We process data in two ways:
- As controller: data of the people who sign up and use the application (users).
- As processor: data of the leads each customer imports or manages in LeadsAhoy. The customer is the controller and we only process the data on their instructions, under the data processing agreement included in the Terms of service.
User data we process
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), photo and language.
- Data of the organization and clients the user creates.
- Data of connected LinkedIn profiles (name, headline, photo, subscription type), through our provider Unipile.
- Technical data: access logs, IP address and technical cookies.
Purposes and legal basis
- Providing the service and managing the account (performance of contract).
- Sending service emails: verification, invitations, password recovery and reply alerts (performance of contract; alerts can be turned off).
- Security and fraud prevention, such as limiting sign-in attempts (legitimate interest).
- Complying with legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
Private beta waitlist
If you request access, we store the form data (name, email, company, website, team type, number of profiles and your message) to review the request, send you a confirmation and, if applicable, an invitation. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us.
We keep these requests for up to 12 months if you don't sign up.
Retention
We keep data while the account is active. After closing it, data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days, except what we must keep by law.
Providers (processors)
We rely on these providers, with GDPR-compliant agreements in place:
- DigitalOcean: hosting of the application and database.
- Unipile: connection with LinkedIn accounts and sending actions.
- Mailgun: transactional emails.
- Google: sign-in with Google, only if the user chooses it.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hello@mindwired.io. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
If you are a lead contacted by a LeadsAhoy customer, please contact that company first, as it is the controller of that data. If you write to us, we will forward your request.
